CHAIMAS FRENKELIS VILLA-MUSEUM (VILNIAUS str. 74, ŠIAULIAI)
- Currently, the second floor of the Chaimas Frenkelis Villa-Museum is closed due to the creation of a new exhibition.
- The National Art Museum’s exhibition “The Worlds of Jurgis Mikševičius”. The exhibition presents the works of the Šiauliai-born and Australian-based artist Jurgis Mikševičius (1923–2014) – from landscapes to abstractions, full of meditative mood and dialogue of cultures.
- The exhibition “Baroque in the 19th century paintings kept in the collections of the Šiauliai “Aušra” Museum engravings". This exhibition is part of the Lithuanian Museums Road theme "Signs of Europe in Lithuania: Baroque". Visitors will see engravings depicting European Baroque-style buildings.
- Visiting the permanent exhibition "Provincial City", "Jewish Cultural Heritage in Šiauliai: Merchants Frenkeliai".
MUSEUM OF PHOTOGRAPHY (VILNIAUS str. 140, ŠIAULIAI)
- From 2025. September 13. The Museum of Photography presents the work of the world-renowned British photographer Dorothy Bohm. The retrospective exhibition "The World Observed" by the famous British artist of Litvak origin will invite you to get acquainted with the creative mindset that has lasted for more than six decades and spans several continents. The exhibition features black-and-white and color images illustrating different stages of the artist's work, aesthetically impressive and deeply human, capturing the people and landscapes of a rapidly changing world. The exhibition will be open until October 26, 2025.
- In the open part of the museum's exposition "Freedom for Photography!" you will see the most valuable exhibits from the collection kept in the museum, which includes more than 150,000 historical and artistic photographs and negatives, photographic production equipment, photographic prints, documents and other photography-related items. The exposition is full of engaging places - stylizations, reconstructions, virtual and experiential solutions.
VENCLAUSKIA HOUSE-MUSEUM (VYTAUTO str. 89, ŠIAULIAI)
- In the museum you will see brightly colored wall decorations revealed during the restoration. Going down to the basement floor of the museum, you will enter the children's area, where the little ones will definitely find something to do while their parents explore the exposition of the Venclauskiai House-Museum.

- From 2025. August 26. The exhibition of the Šiauliai “Aušros” Museum “1915. On the Margins of Great History” is on display, dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Šiauliai Battle of World War I. The exhibition aims to look at the history of the First World War from a different angle than usual: not as a field of military actions, but by focusing on social, societal processes that often remain on the margins of military history. The exhibition’s narrative is created from the stories of various witnesses who survived the events of the First World War and later described them in their memoirs or diaries, i.e. firsthand. At the Venclauskių House-Museum, the exhibition will tell the story of war refugees.
ŠIAULIAI HISTORY MUSEUM (AUŠROS ave. 47, ŠIAULIAI)
- Visitors to the Šiauliai History Museum will see an open-air storage exhibition showcasing the “gold fund” of exhibits from the “Aušros” Museum and a permanent exhibition revealing the past of Šiauliai from ancient times to the restoration of Lithuanian independence in 1918.
- The exhibition “Puzzle of the Past: Archaeological Secrets of Šiauliai Manor” is on display. It provides an overview of the architecture and decor of the manor. The everyday objects, personal accessories and fashion details on display allow you to take a closer look at the manor’s culture – how its residents lived, what they adorned themselves with, what they valued, and what their dietary habits were.
- From 2025. August 26 The exhibition “1915. On the Margins of Great History” of the Šiauliai “Aušra” Museum is being exhibited to commemorate the 110th anniversary of the Battle of Šiauliai in World War I. The exhibition aims to look at the history of the First World War from a different angle than usual: not as a field of military actions, but by focusing on social and societal processes that often remain on the margins of military history. The exhibition’s narrative is created from the stories of various eyewitnesses who survived the events of the First World War and later described them in their memoirs or diaries, i.e. firsthand. At the Šiauliai History Museum, visitors will learn the stories of people who remained in the war-torn territory of Lithuania or participated in the war fronts.
BICYCLE MUSEUM (VILNIAUS str. 139, ŠIAULIAI)
- On the first floor of the museum, you will find competitions on modern and antique bicycles that will bring joy to both adults and children. The antique wooden bicycle was constructed according to drawings that are almost five centuries old. On the third floor, you can try road cycling, and on the second floor, you can try out an unconventional sports vehicle - a velomobile.
RADIO AND TELEVISION MUSEUM (VILNIAUS str. 174, ŠIAULIAI)
- In the museum's exposition, you will see working television receivers made in different periods, hear mechanical gramophones, electrophones, and tape recorders playing. We will offer you to try out the telegraph machine yourself and send an SOS signal in Morse code.
ŽALIŪKIŲ MILLMAN'S HOMESTEAD-MUSEUM (ARCHITEKTŲ str. 73, ŠIAULIAI)
- 19th century The Žaliūkių mill, built in the countryside at the end of the 19th century on the land of the father of the German Gustav Daniel in the village of Žaliūkių, is now “embracing” the growing city. This impressive structure and the restored homestead next to it commemorate the Žaliūkių village that once stood here.
- We invite you to take a walk through the restored barn, where you will find an exhibition of open storage facilities. Here you will see exhibits of agricultural and artisan tools and household and household items.
