PRESENTATION OF THE BOOK "TO BE RELEASED... CAPTAIN STEPONAS DARIUS IN THE LITHUANIAN WAR AVIATION 1922-1927"

In 2023 Wednesday, November 29, 5 p.m. Chaim Frenkel's villa-museum (Vilniaus St. 74, Šiauliai) will host the presentation of the book "Must be released... Captain Steponas Darius in the Lithuanian Air Force 1922-1927" by author, engineer, military history researcher Pijaus Poškus. The author of the book, P. Poškus, will take part in the event. and representatives of the Lithuanian Aviation Museum.

The book is easy to understand not only for lovers of aviation history, but also for each of us. When reading the work, one can feel that Steponas Darius's existential questions and crossroads are not unfamiliar in today's world and in our lives. The value of the book is also its special design - lightness, specific use of colors and different types of paper - created by Inga Navickaitė-Drąsutė, who won several awards for the book's appearance.

On the day of the presentation, the book will be available for purchase at Chaim Frenkel's villa-museum, price 20.00 EUR. After the event, the author P. Poškus will sign autographs.

The publisher of the book is the Lithuanian Aviation Museum.
