New Šiauliai Aušros Museum’s service – universal ticket

Universal ticket is very popular in many countries, as it provides an eccelent opportunity to visit more exclusive, noteworthy objects for lower price. Considering the needs of potential our visitors, Aušros Museum offers this possibility.

Universal ticket allows you to visit even six divisions of Šiauliai Aušros Museum: Žaliūkių Village Miller's Farmstead – a new space, devoted to ethnoculture, amusement and recreation, that opened its doors just this spring after restauration and reconstruction works were completed, and the most important its part – the restored Žaliūkių Windmill; Ch. Frenkelis Villa – the only in Šiauliai and one of a few in Lithuania buildings of the Modern style architecture from the beginning of the 20th century; it always pleasantly surprises the visitors with its authentic interiors and stylized expositions; Bicycle Museum – the only museum of this type in Lithuania, illustrating the evolution of bicycle since its invention until nowadays; Radio and Television Museum presents the exhibits, that reveal the development of sound and view reproduction devices, telecommunications equipment, showing principles of their operating and potential; Aušros Avenue Mansion with interesting ethnographical and archaeological expositions and Poet Jovaras' House with recently created stylized space of Lithuanian book-store during the Interwar period and recreated poet Jovaras' living atmosphere.

For visitor's convenience, there is given a map straightly on the universal ticket, with all six Aušros Museum's expositions including their addresses.

Aušros Museum's universal ticket is available starting with May 24, 2011, in all Museum's divisions.

Adult ticket – 15 Lt; Child ticket – 8 Lt; Ticket is valid 3 days since purchasing. Ticket is not valid for guiding tour, photo- and shooting services.
